Francena Phillips Jackson, MA ’94

Francena Phillips JacksonFrancena Phillips Jackson, MA '94, comes back home to The University of Baltimore and brings with her over 14 years of alumni and development experience to UB's Office of Planned Giving. Prior to joining the advancement team at UB, Francena spent 5 years at the George Washington University, where she led a team of major gift fundraisers, and managed a leadership annual giving society during the school's Making History campaign. She also worked in alumni and development at the University of Maryland (College Park) Alumni Association, and the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Francena received her Master's of Arts in publications design in 1994. In addition, she holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park. She looks forward to growing the planned giving program at UB, especially the Turner Society. She is excited about working with alumni and friends of UB and helping them navigate the many planned giving vehicles that will help our university including bequests, Charitable Gift Annuities (CGAs), Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs), gifts by beneficiary designation, real estate, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
